[Maison Martin Margiela: Covered Up]
Maison Martin Margiela debuted the Autumn 2011/2012 collection with faceless models. Well...not exactly. They had faces, they were just covered up with black masks. Maybe to add a bit of mystery, or to keep the viewers eyes off of the models' faces and on the clothing. Either way...a statement was definitely made. More pics when you pop the top...
i think its weird and genius at the same time! If other designers can send the models down in beards and other things why not masks! It deff does make you pay attention to the clothes more.
